Hi, Robert. I guess I do a modified plank, at least for my 2 minute planks. I have had reconstructive surgeries on both hands and can’t do the hand position in your photos. I can use my knuckles for short periods. I had trainers in the past who taught me to do the plan with elbows and forearms flat. Then end with the downward dog for a bit. Last word, if I’m at my sink I’ll do a sort of pushup with my hands on the counter and my body at an angle and push up slowly. Now that’s not even a challenge until my reps are way up so I know my version of the plank and my other workouts are strengthening me.
